The 2022 vintage at Tystrya Estates and Ribbon Ridge Vineyard benefited from an exceptionally long and balanced ripening period. The growing season saw moderate temperatures, leading to even ripening and excellent acidity retention. A cool start to fall allowed flavors to develop gradually. October’s warm, dry conditions provided the final push for physiological ripeness. Harvested on October 12th, the fruit delivers a wine with elegance, purity, finesse, and alcohol of 13.65%.

2022 Signature Pinot Noir (Single Barrel – 12 Months New Oak, 8 Months Neutral Oak) - 21 cases - 252 bottles 

Sourced from a single, carefully selected barrel of Pommard clone, this wine represents the essence of Ribbon Ridge terroir. The site’s marine sedimentary and clay soils lend a distinct earth-driven complexity, while the wine’s time in new and neutral oak layers in fine tannins and supple texture.

• Aromatics: Red florals, lavender, and wild raspberry, accented by loamy earth and dried herbs.

• Palate: Juicy red cherry and guava purée supported by fine-grained tannins and subtle vanilla from oak.
